What is the difference between ordinary CNC machine and multi-head CNC machine?

1. Number of spindles. 3 axis CNC wood machine have only one main shaft (or equipped with one rotating shaft), and multi-head CNC machine have more than two main shafts (4 process engraving machines are common).

2. Processing materials. The multi-head CNC machine can process materials that can be processed by ordinary engraving machines. In addition, it can also process PVC boards, MDF, artificial marble, aluminum sheets and other materials. The range of processing materials is wider than 3 axis CNC wood machine.

3. The operation is more complicated. In fact, the operating principles of these two types of CNC routers are the same. They are controlled by a computer system and are easy to learn, operate and use. 5. The scope of application. The multi-process engraving machine has a wider range of applications. In addition to processing ordinary furniture such as doors and windows, cabinets, screens, mold carvings, etc., it can also perform complex artwork carving.

6. Applicable customer groups. If you only want to carry out simple plane engraving and do not have perfect pursuit of the engraved product, then ordinary woodworking engraving machine can meet your needs. If you want to process in batches to improve processing efficiency, and the processed patterns are more complex, and the requirements for processed products are relatively high, then you can choose a multi-process engraving machine. And if you really want to buy an ATC CNC machine, but the budget is not enough, then the multi-process engraving machine is a very good choice.
