A Wood Cutting Panel Saw Machine does have more flexibility for the more custom shop. You can cut angled corners and edges and you don't need software to operate the machine. Depending on the volume that you do and the type of work you do will determine which better suites you. With a beam saw you have the ability to cut more sheets than you would on a slider assuming you have numerous identical parts and you are cutting multiple sheets together.
Cross-cut fence scale
If your scale is inaccurate, there is a metal stop held in place with set screws on the bottom of the fence. That stop determines the horizontal alignment of the fence, which determines the scale. Using your standard blade (this adjustment depends on blade thickness), adjust the stop until the scale is right. When I first got my machine, I routinely banged the fence against the stop, and it gradually moved ... I now am much more gentle in aligning the fence. I also find it helpful to put a tiny pencil mark on the fence, aligned with the edge of the slider, so I can see if it has moved.
Hold down clamps
Most units come with a "shoe" for rough lumber, and one hold-down clamp. Many people buy a second hold-down clamp, as did I. As you become familiar with your machine, you will feel comfortable holding the work in place on the slider without any clamps. I have never used the shoe (other than a brief try to decide that I didn't want to use the shoe). I occasionally use one clamp. I can't remember the last time I used two clamps.
Ripping hardwood
One of my favorite challenges is ripping a piece of rough cut hardwood. With most table saws, some ugly tricks are required to get the first straight edge. With the sliding tablesaw, this is trivial.
1.Steel bar sliding table, with inner lock, more rigidity and strength, smooth movement.
2.For saw spindle, every axis has been tested for perfect balance.
3.Perfect inner structure, to make sure the machine work precision, easy-operation.
4.Static spray paint technology for machine, never paint off,
5.Thick metal sheet, high stiffness of the frame prevents the emergence of vibration during operation in severe cutting conditions.
6.Fine micro adjustment,stable and precision.
7.Auto power off saw blade cover added the working safety
8.5.5kw +1.1kw big power motor, national standard, cooper wire, aluminum shells
9.European quality button
10.Aluminum extruded fence with large stopper
How Does A Sliding Table Saw Work?
As we noted earlier, the blade in a sliding table saw does not move. The table does.
A sliding table saw includes both the main cutting blade and a scoring blade. The scoring blade sits in front of the primary blade and cuts a kerf slightly wider than the main blade. Kerf refers to the width of the material that is removed by the cut.
It is set very low on the table, with just enough height to mark, or score, the bottom of the workpiece. The teeth on a scoring blade are set backwards to the set of the main blade, counter-rotating to ensure a clean cut. Since the kerf of the scoring blade is slightly wider than the main blade, the main blade cut will maintain that cleanness.
Clamps will secure the workpiece to the sliding table, and you’re beside the blade, not in line with it. Moving or sliding the table moves the workpiece through the saw blades, and the result is a safe, clean, and accurate cut.
