Each 5-axis CNC router features five fully synchronized axes to meet even the most demanding production requirements, from routing to milling. Choose a twin moving table to boost productivity, or a single stationary table to free up floor space. These machines easily handle substantial workloads, including large amounts of wood, plastic, aluminum, and corrugated materials. Additionally, these machines are ideal for manufacturing marine and automotive parts as well as molded product trimming on curved 3D surfaces. Regardless of the model you choose, these 5-axis CNC machines will impress every time.
In a 5 axis CNC machine, the rotation can occur by either the spindle or the workpiece. This multidimensional movement offers unparalleled accuracy and means that it can perform a wide variety of functions, including milling, turning.
1. With FANUC control system, high machining accuracy and high performance. 2. Heavy duty welded steel frame and gantry can be for maximum straightness and rigidity. 3. Equipped with linear tool changer, it can greatly improve the production efficiency. 4. Adopting the T-slot working table, it can use the clips to fix the small-scale materials, which can save the vacuum pump electricity.
Applications of a 5 axis cnc router
Our 5 axis CNC router is designed for stone cutting, but these dynamic machines are capable of far more. Many 5 axis routers are capable of cutting wood, steel, corrugated materials and plastic. Thanks to the unique core bit and water cooling system, your BACA Systems router is best used for countertop materials.
Glide through quartz, marble, granite or other hard surfaces to create stunning selections for your facility. Whether you’re a custom cabinetry manufacturer or a licensed construction company, a stone fabrication CNC router is an excellent investment to create your own custom pieces.
Why Use 5 axis cnc router?
A 5 axis cnc router is a strict upgrade on a 3-axis machine. They are more expensive but that is the only drawback when comparing the two. The distinction is less clear when comparing a 5 axis cnc router to a 3+2 axis machine. The latter can do everything the former can except it is slower as the cutting tool is reoriented for each face of the material. Still, with slower speed comes fewer moving parts which means less maintenance.
5 axis cnc router is ideal for most projects. While it is not the only machine capable of fulfilling certain tasks, it is the fastest and has the greatest operational flexibility.
Advantages of the 5 axis cnc router
The 5 axis cnc router is in use mainly for large scale industries whereas the 3-axis is limited to smaller ones. The tool life is better and improved and properly finished when compared to the 3-axis. The 3-axis is used for cutting tools along X, Y and Z axes only when compared to the added features of the 5-axis. The 3-axis was invented in the 1800s, which is much slower and less accurate. The 3-axis are provided with a stand while many machines have a moving system for the cutting purposes. The 3-axis are specifically designed for automatic operation of the machines. They are used for drilling holes and cutting the sharp edges. The 5 axis cnc router are capable of more functions such as building aerospace products, car molds, military products and many more. The 3-axis can never match the precision and the efficiency of the 5 axis cnc router as it can cut most tedious structures and with better quality.
