Plasma cutting which is a thermal cutting method, is widely used to cut or engrave on materials such as metals. This is one of the fastest cutting methods available that assures high-quality and precise cuts without causing any deterioration on the material. Although being a popular metal cutting technique, most of us are unaware of plasma cutting. Are you interested to know more about this metal cutting technique? This post is intended to provide you detailed information about steel plasma cutting machine.

With the development of the economy and the improvement of technology, traditional processing methods have been difficult to meet the current processing needs, in order to obtain better processing effect, many industries are now using High-tech means to assist in processing. And now the laser technology is one of them, not only changed the traditional processing methods, excellent performance advantages are now recognized by many industries, as one of these industries indispensable processing methods, and as a laser equipment----Laser cutting machine has received unprecedented attention.cnc compatible plasma cutter

CNC plasma cutting machine is the main cutting equipment for cutting smaller workpieces today. At the same time, it can also cut softer materials such as non-ferrous metals that cannot be cut by flame cutting machines. Maintenance of CNC plasma cutting machines is also indispensable, because its work The environment is not very good, so if you want to ensure that it can be used for a long time and ensure the cutting accuracy, you need to do safe operation and correct maintenance. For your reference.

1. Maintenance of CNC plasma cutting machine

1. Install the torch correctly and carefully, ensure that all parts are well matched, and ensure the circulation of gas and cooling gas. Installation Put all parts on a clean flannel to prevent dirt from sticking to the parts.

2. Do not replace the consumable parts after they are completely damaged, because the severely worn electrodes, nozzles and eddy current rings will generate uncontrollable plasma arcs, which can easily cause serious damage to the cutting torch. Therefore, when the cutting quality is found to be degraded, the consumables should be checked in time.

3. When replacing consumables or daily maintenance and inspection, be sure to ensure that the inner and outer threads of the cutting torch are clean, and if necessary, the connecting threads should be cleaned or repaired.

4. In many cutting torches, the contact surface between the nozzle and the electrode is a charged contact surface. If these contact surfaces are dirty, the cutting torch cannot work normally.

5. Check the flow and pressure of the gas and cooling airflow every day. If you find that the flow is insufficient or there is a leak, you should immediately stop the machine to troubleshoot.

6. In order to avoid the collision and damage of the cutting torch, it should be programmed correctly to avoid the system from overrunning, and the installation of the anti-collision device can effectively avoid the damage of the cutting torch during collision.

Plasma cutting systems in gantry design consist of a steel gantry, a so-called gantry beam, driven on both sides and mounted on guideways. The tool stations (plasma torch, drilling support, scanner, etc.) are mounted on this beam. Thanks to the solid construction, they can be positioned vibration-free and accurate to a few hundredths millimetres. A plasma cutting table is positioned within the guideways, on which the cut parts are placed and processed.
